Payroll, Finance and Processes - here you bring in your experience.
Feldschlösschen is the leading brewery and largest beverage retailer in Switzerland. To strengthen our People & Culture Operations team, we are looking for an experienced, numbers-savvy and trustworthy individual who reliably connects Payroll and HR Finance.
Together with another payroll specialist, you ensure the correct and timely payroll processing for around 1,300 employees. At the same time, you are responsible for the financial reconciliation of payroll and work closely with our Finance team as well as our Shared Services.
In this role, you report directly to the Head of Operations - People & Culture.
What you can achieve:
- You jointly conduct the monthly Swiss payroll with another payroll specialist and ensure its quality, punctuality and legal compliance.
- You handle complex payroll topics such as withholding tax, social insurances, family allowances as well as sickness and accident daily allowances.
- You are responsible for the reconciliation of wage, balance sheet and social insurance accounts and ensure a reliable connection between payroll and financial accounting.
- You support monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as internal and external audits and ensure compliance with our internal control system.
- You check and post HR invoices, assign them to the correct cost centres and coordinate further processing with Finance and our Shared Services.
- You support salary rounds, bonus processes and other recurring payroll activities.
- You work with SAP HCM Payroll, SAP SuccessFactors and other digital HR systems and accompany system adjustments and release changes.
- You create evaluations and statistics, answer payroll questions and actively contribute to the optimisation and digitalisation of our processes.
Your toolkit:
- A completed commercial apprenticeship as well as relevant further training in payroll, social insurances, HR or finance and accounting.
- Several years of solid professional experience in the Swiss payroll environment.
- Very good knowledge of SAP HCM Payroll.
- Experience in reconciliation between payroll and financial accounting as well as a good understanding of wage, balance sheet and social insurance accounts.
- Practical knowledge of Swiss wage and social insurance law.
- Very good Excel skills as well as a strong numerical and process understanding.
- Very good German language skills.
Additional advantages
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
- Knowledge in invoice posting, financial statements, audits or internal control systems.
- Experience with expatriate payroll, shadow tax cases or other international payroll topics.
- French and English language skills.
- Experience in digitalisation, system or process optimisation projects.
What sets you apart
You work independently, in a structured and precise manner and keep an overview even during intense payroll phases. Integrity, discretion and reliability are a matter of course for you. You understand financial contexts, get to the point and enjoy working across departments.
At the same time, you are a committed team player: you share your knowledge, ask the right questions and develop practical and sustainable solutions together with others.
What you will enjoy:
- A responsible specialist role with high personal responsibility and scope for design.
- A varied activity at the interface of payroll, HR finance, finance and shared services.
- A modern HR system environment and the opportunity to actively further develop our processes.
- Flexible working hours and the possibility to work partly from home.
- A collegial team, attractive employment conditions and opportunities for professional development.
- Free drinks at the workplace as well as attractive employee discounts on our diverse beverage range.
