For the Zurich / Central Switzerland region, we are looking to strengthen our dedicated team by arrangement with a motivated and qualified individual as:
Sector Manager 50%
In this role, you will take on a key position in ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and quality in a dynamic hotel environment. You are responsible for organising and quality assurance in housekeeping, planning deployments, and leading your team purposefully. You ensure compliance with all hygiene and quality standards. With your structured working method, you guarantee a smooth process and make a significant contribution to guest satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities
- Operational Management | Planning, implementation, and monitoring of operational order execution, including work preparation, budget control, and quality inspection
- Deviation and Complaint Management | Efficient handling of errors, documentation of deficiencies and complaints, as well as initiation and monitoring of corrective measures
- Equipment and Deployment Planning | Ensuring the correct use of machines, devices, and cleaning chemicals, along with clarifying the work environment and controlling effort and working hours
- Leadership and Occupational Safety | Leading, motivating, and instructing employees as well as ensuring occupational safety and health protection
- Personnel Management | Ensuring contract-compliant employee deployment, guaranteeing qualifications, conducting salary adjustments, and promoting professional development.
- Economic Order Processing | Executing orders from an economic perspective and considering all technical standards
- Budget Responsibility | Ensuring financial targets and adherence to defined contribution margins
- General Tasks | Taking on additional tasks related to the function
Your Qualifications and Skills
- Professional Experience | You have completed training in the hotel industry or housekeeping and have several years of experience in housekeeping/facility services
- Leadership Experience | You possess solid leadership experience and pronounced leadership skills.
- Working Method and Teamwork | Independent, reliable working style combined with strong teamwork skills
- Communication | You are strong in communication
- Language Skills | Very good German and good English skills are mandatory; additional languages are an advantage
