The Department of Ageing and Care of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of the City of Winterthur in the five senior centres as well as with Spitex.

In the nursing specialist HF course, we offer internship places for the entire duration of the course in our five senior centres as well as in the seven Spitex centres of the City of Winterthur. You will work with people in various life situations and take on the care and support of clients at home and/or residents in the senior centres.

Your Tasks

• Needs- and resource-oriented, individual care and support within the key worker system
• Analysing complex care and support situations, initiating measures and evaluating them
• Close collaboration with residents/clients and their families and in the intra- and interprofessional context
• Contributing to the development of care quality and the residential group

Your Profile

• Completion of at least a 3-year vocational training EFZ, specialised middle school or gymnasial maturity
• A passed admission procedure at ZAG or Careum
• Very good powers of observation, independent and networked thinking
• Interest in people in advanced age and in complex life situations
• Decision-making and reflection skills
• Mental and physical resilience
• Communication and teamwork skills
