Job description:

• Independent management of securities accounting for autonomous pension funds at mandate level
• Responsible handling of mandates as well as participation in the preparation of annual financial statements
• Posting, reconciliation and control of securities transactions as well as maintenance of security master data
• Preparation of relevant data and documents for audits and external statistics
• Processing of withholding tax reclaim requests domestically and abroad
• Creation of evaluations, reports and presentations for foundation boards
• Close cooperation with management, investment controlling, financial accounting and other internal and external contacts
• Competent telephone and written support of mandate clients

About the customer:

For our client, we are looking for an experienced specialist in the field of foundation and securities accounting for Swiss pension funds.

In this responsible role, you will independently manage pension fund mandates and ensure professional securities accounting as well as the timely preparation of annual financial statements. You will work closely with various specialist departments and contacts, including management, investment controlling and financial accounting.

The position offers you the opportunity to apply your solid experience in occupational pensions in a specialised environment and to take independent responsibility during a fixed-term mandate.

Requirements:

• Completed commercial training with relevant further education in finance or accounting
• Several years of solid professional experience in securities accounting, ideally with at least five years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in managing autonomous Swiss pension funds
• Practical experience in independent mandate management and preparation of annual financial statements
• Very good knowledge of various investment products, especially alternative investments
• Experience with pension fund administration, finance and accounting systems; knowledge of ePOCA is an advantage
• Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
• Fluent German in spoken and written form; English and French skills are an advantage
• Independent, structured and precise working style as well as a strong sense of responsibility
