To strengthen our occupational therapy team at the Centre for Geriatric Medicine and Palliative Care (65 beds), we are looking for a committed professional. In close collaboration with physiotherapy, nursing, medical staff, and the occupational therapy department of the Centre for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, you will make an important contribution to the interprofessional treatment of our patients.
- Treatment of geriatric patients within the framework of acute geriatrics
- ADL training with the aim of achieving the greatest possible independence in daily life
- Therapy of the upper extremities (functional therapy, mobilisation, sensorimotor skills, everyday relevant activities)
- Conducting cognitive training
- Assessment and provision of aids including instruction of patients and relatives
- Assessment, goal setting, therapy planning and progress documentation
- Close interprofessional collaboration with nursing, medical staff and other specialist departments
- Participation in the further development of treatment standards and therapeutic offerings
Your Profile
- Degree as an occupational therapist BSc or an equivalent qualification recognised in Switzerland
- Enthusiasm for the field of geriatric medicine
- Independent, structured and responsible way of working
- High social and communication skills as well as enjoyment of teamwork
- Interest in evidence-based therapy and professional development
