Introduction

We are looking for our client, a leading wholesaler in the food industry,

Type of Work

• Working on the automated logistics conveyor system for returns
• Troubleshooting and ensuring conveyor operation
• Unloading lorries and tractor units using counterbalance forklifts
• Moving returned goods (PET, cardboard, reusable containers, etc.)
• Sorting and categorising returned goods
• Loading recyclable goods using counterbalance forklifts
• Various tasks in goods receipt and storage
• Cleaning lorries and reusable containers

Requirements Profile

• Experience in logistics, especially with an automated logistics system, is an advantage
• IT and computer literate, especially in operating tablets and system modules, is an advantage
• SUVA forklift licence (sit-down counterbalance forklift) and extensive experience required
• Physically robust and resilient
• Flexible regarding Saturday and shift work (early and late shifts, starting no earlier than 05:00, finishing by 18:30 at the latest)
• Sundays always off
• Own car (shift work)
• Efficient and proactive
• Good understanding of German
• Residence in the Bern area is an advantage
