Mission

Main duties and responsibilities

• Define relevant research and experimental plans, sustained with theoretical considerations and knowledge of the literature.
• Conduct experiments and analyze data.
• Report and disseminate the research outcome in journal publications and at conferences.
• Interact and collaborate with other lab members as well as with industrial partners.
• Occasionally supervise undergraduate students.
• Contribute to the laboratory operations through shared duties.

Profile

• You recently obtained a PhD in applied physics, micro-technologies or related fields with a strong knowledge of optics.
• You have experience in optical design and related simulation tools, as well as hands-on experience with optical setups involving lasers.
• You have a keen interest in research in the broad field of advanced manufacturing.
• You are independent, creative, solution-oriented, flexible and a team-player.
