About the job
Your new role
As a school social worker, you are responsible for two school buildings in the city of St. Gallen. You advise and support children, adolescents, guardians, as well as teachers and school management on social issues, which manifest, among other places, in the school. In the dynamic field of school social work, the positive development of children and adolescents as well as the welfare of the child are central. You work on a case-by-case basis with the systems of school, family, and other specialist agencies and develop sustainable solutions together.
This position is suitable for you if
- you have completed a degree at a university of applied sciences in social work
- you have many years of diverse experience in counselling
- you are experienced in cooperation, networking, and triage work
- you distinguish yourself through an innovative and team-oriented working style
- you are accustomed to working independently, flexibly, and goal-oriented
