Senior Project Manager Hydropower - Civil Engineering 80-100%

The Electrical Energy Directorate operates the infrastructure of hydraulic and thermal power plants, develops facilities for electricity generation from renewable energies and ensures electricity supply under the best possible conditions.

Your task:

• Participation in the development of the Schiffenen-Murten hydropower project
• Management of studies, realisations and construction sites of hydropower projects or sub-projects, especially in the areas of civil engineering and environment
• Commissioning and performance monitoring of planning offices and/or companies
• Representation of Groupe E in consultation groups of stakeholders and vis-à-vis authorities
• Establishment and maintenance of the project-related geographic information system as well as project planning
• Participation in the further development of the unit's skills and knowledge in the field of civil engineering (underground construction, river engineering)

Your profile:

• Degree as a civil engineer
• At least 8 years of experience as a civil engineer in a planning office or company
• Good knowledge in the field of hydropower, underground construction, excavation management
• Experience in managing large civil engineering projects, construction law and contract management
• Analytical and networked thinking, sense of responsibility, team spirit, communication skills and good editorial abilities
• Fluent German skills, very good French skills
