Regional Energy and Water Supply
EW Oftringen AG, EW Rothrist AG and StWZ Energy AG are planning a joint energy and water supply.
With the "Regional Energy AG" (working title; "REAG") and the "Regional Water AG" (working title; "RWAG"), two regional companies are to be established in the future. REAG, as an energy supplier and energy service provider, aims to ensure a secure and climate-neutral supply of electricity and heat to the region by 2050. REAG is to position itself as a customer- and solution-oriented service provider for municipalities, partners and end customers and to be an attractive employer. It is to seize market opportunities, realise growth and retain value creation in the region. Thus, jobs should be able to be expanded after an integration phase lasting around two years.
