About the job
We are looking for a
Chef 100% (m/f/d) - Zurich
Your area of responsibility
- You prepare high-quality dishes and ensure an efficient mise-en-place
- You work in a versatile culinary environment: event buffets, à la carte offers, seated menus as well as fine dining experiences in the executive area
- You actively contribute your ideas to the development of new dishes and support the further development of our offerings
- You take responsibility for inventory management: ordering, stocktaking, goods receipt inspection and checking delivery notes
- You work closely with your team and ensure smooth operations in the kitchen
- Working hours: You work between Sunday evening and Friday noon, in shifts without room hours between 6:00 and 17:00 or from 13:00 to 22:00, depending on the schedule. The restaurant is closed from Friday noon to Sunday evening, except for occasional events
Your profile
- You have completed vocational training as a chef or have comparable professional experience
- You bring several years of professional experience from upscale gastronomy
- You have a passion for culinary arts combined with a high standard of quality
- As a team-oriented personality, you like to take responsibility and keep an overview even in hectic moments
- You enjoy training apprentices
- You have very good German and English skills as well as knowledge of MS Office
- You have an impeccable reputation and a clean debt collection register
