Nursing Expert APN Palliative Care

- Professional leadership and treatment of patients and their relatives in specialised palliative care as a Nurse Practitioner (NP).
- Combining nursing and medical responsibility to ensure quality, safety and continuity of care.
- Applying advanced clinical competencies as an APN on the specialised palliative ward as well as case-related consultations throughout the hospital.
- Making evidence-based knowledge accessible through standards, training and coaching for members of the interprofessional team and supporting its application in practice.
- Actively shaping processes, participating in specialist and project groups, and co-responsibility for the further development of nursing and treatment quality.
Become part of the Department of Emergency and Acute Medicine at Zollikerberg Hospital. On our specialised palliative ward with 11 beds, we care for and support patients and their relatives with complex illness and life situations. You can expect a demanding and varied field of activity in specialised palliative care. Our palliative ward is awarded the "Quality in Palliative Care" label by qualitépalliative.

This is how you convince us:
- Completed training as a qualified nurse (BScN)
- Started or completed Master of Science in Nursing (MScN)
- Several years of professional experience in specialised palliative care
- Additional qualification in palliative care (B1/B2/CAS/DAS/MAS) is an advantage
- Strong communication and social skills as well as a high degree of empathy
- Enjoyment of interprofessional collaboration and active participation in the specialised palliative care network
