In our Claims Performance and Analytics area within Claims Management, you are responsible for performance control of our largest line in the claims sector. You work at the interface between claims handling, underwriting, actuarial, and analytics, thereby supporting the continuous development of claims handling as well as the strategic goals of Zurich Switzerland.

What you do
- You are responsible for performance control in the motor vehicles area: you develop and monitor KPIs, analyse deviations, and derive concrete measures regarding claims costs, efficiency, leakage, and customer satisfaction.
- You independently analyse large data sets - from data preparation to interpretation - using SQL as well as Python or PySpark and continuously develop data-based analytical approaches.
- You accompany the annual planning and control process for your line and monitor the implementation of the agreed operational and financial measures throughout the year.
- You create meaningful reports for internal stakeholders and Group Claims, represent the underlying figures, and ensure the necessary governance.
- You are a sparring partner for the line managers and work closely with claims handling, underwriting, actuarial, and analytics to effectively connect specialist departments, data, and control requirements.
What you bring
- You have a university degree in business, statistics, data science, (business) mathematics, or a comparable field.
- You bring several years of experience in non-life insurance, ideally in claims or performance environments, for example in motor vehicles, property, or liability.
- You work confidently with SQL and Python, ideally also with PySpark, and have experience with large data sets as well as reporting tools such as Power BI.
- You can classify complex analyses understandably, formulate clear and actionable recommendations, and represent these convincingly to management.
- You work independently, structured, and solution-oriented, actively driving topics forward.
- You communicate fluently in German and English.
