To further strengthen our Marketing & Communications team in Zurich, we are looking for a 

Senior Events & Communications Manager, 60% in Zurich

This role combines executive communications, events and strategic positioning in support of responsAbility’s business, fundraising and market positioning objectives. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to turn complex investment topics into clear, engaging content, prepare speakers and presentations, and manage selected internal and external events. The ideal candidate understands asset management, banking or institutional investing and is able to translate complex investment topics into compelling narratives for professional and institutional audiences. Based in Zurich and reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications, you will work as part of a complementary event and communications tandem.

Your Main Tasks

• Lead communications and content preparation for selected executive events, conferences and speaking engagements
• Take end-to-end ownership of responsAbility Events and Townhalls, including overall planning and coordination, content development, speaker preparation, orchestration of relevant support functions and follow-up communication
• Support the CEO, Executive Management and senior experts with presentations, briefings and preparation for selected external engagements
• Develop clear and compelling storylines based on investment and business topics
• Proactively identify, assess and recommend relevant speaking and positioning opportunities aligned with business, Sales and fundraising priorities
• Create high-quality presentations and communication materials for senior stakeholders
• Coordinate event-related communications across relevant internal and external channels
• Work closely with Investment teams, Sales, Impact & ESG and other stakeholders to develop relevant content and messaging
• Ensure relevant event materials can be used for Sales follow-up and broader communications
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager and provide mutual support where needed
• Ensure applicable Compliance, Risk, Sustainability and corporate brand requirements are considered

Your Experience and Skills

• University degree or equivalent qualification in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Finance or a related field
• Relevant 7-10 years of professional experience in asset management, investment management or banking
• Experience in communications, executive engagement, events or a related field
• Excellent writing, editing and presentation skills
• Strong PowerPoint and storytelling skills with the ability to structure complex investment topics into clear and engaging executive-level narratives, presentations and speaker messages
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and preparing executives or experts for speaking engagements
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Proactive, collaborative and confident working style
• Good understanding of digital and internal communication channels
• Fluency in English; German is an advantage
• Experience in impact investing or sustainable finance is an advantage
