Staff Member Teaching Development (80-100%)

Your tasks:
To strengthen our specialist unit at the Centre for Education of the Applied Psychology degree programmes, we are looking for two committed individuals who will help shape (digital) teaching, participate in various projects and coordinate the examination and appeals system. You will be part of a motivated team in a pleasant working atmosphere.
The tasks essentially include:
Teaching development:
Process digitalisation in education and training:
Examination and appeals system:
- Participation in the continuous development of the degree programmes and the training and further education portfolio of the University of Applied Psychology
- Development and optimisation of (digital) teaching and learning formats as well as didactic concepts in collaboration with the programme management, lecturers and other internal stakeholders, taking into account current learning technologies, media and didactic findings
- Support and moderation of teaching development processes (e.g. workshops, concept presentations, reviews)
- Assuming tasks within the framework of quality assurance (teaching evaluations, student surveys, preparation of statistical key figures)
Process digitalisation in education and training:
- Management and support of current digitalisation projects (e.g. process harmonisation) at the interface between central IT FHNW and the University of Applied Psychology
- Evaluation of digital tools within pilot projects (e.g. software, web apps)
- Support in the digitalisation and further development of work processes using digital tools
Examination and appeals system:
- Organisation and coordination of the examination system in the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes (e.g. applications for disadvantage compensation, reviewing ethics applications, ensuring operational processes)
- Further development of examination formats, optimisation of performance assessments based on test-theoretical quality criteria in close cooperation with the programme management
- Processing of appeals
Your profile:
You have a completed university degree at Master’s level in Applied Psychology or related disciplines (e.g. in the field of (digital) teaching, adult education, didactics or comparable qualification) and also bring the following qualifications:
- Ideally at least 2 years of professional experience in one of the mentioned areas
- Enthusiasm for didactic questions and collaboration with students, lecturers and external stakeholders
- Interest in and experience with innovative didactic concepts and the use of digital technologies in the higher education context
- Practical experience with learning technologies as well as digital affinity and willingness to engage with demanding digitalisation projects
- Experience in project management and implementation
- Strong independence, analytical thinking and initiative, high service orientation, good communication skills, organisational flair as well as a confident and competent appearance; enjoyment in jointly developing solutions within a team
- Good oral and written English skills as well as a very good command of German
- Practical experience in the higher education context and with student administration systems is an advantage
