About the job

In this responsible role within the Networks business unit, you act at the interface between strategic asset management, engineering, network operations, network regions, and network economics. You translate strategic directives into concrete measures for investments, renewal, and maintenance, manage measure portfolios, and ensure reliable decision-making bases for asset decisions, project orders, and investment projects.
You think in life cycles, recognise connections between asset condition, supply security, costs, resources, and economic efficiency, and contribute to the long-term safe, efficient, and economical development of our network infrastructure.

• Translation of strategic directives and target images into concrete measures as well as collaboration in deriving annual and multi-year programmes for the network infrastructure
• Establishment and further development of effective asset, measure, and order management
• Structuring, assessment, and prioritisation of measures considering condition, criticality, supply security, life cycle costs, resources, and economic efficiency
• Preparation of project and programme orders as a basis for engineering and network regions as well as planning and control of the measure portfolio including cost, schedule, quality, risk, and resource considerations
• Development and implementation of phase models, quality gates, and corresponding process documentation
• Assumption of the client role in assigned projects as well as representation in project steering committees including quality assurance and cost optimisation of the portfolio
• Preparation of decision-making bases, investment and credit applications, as well as collaboration in the further development of processes, standards, reporting, and control instruments

• University degree in industrial engineering, energy technology, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in asset management, energy supply, network infrastructure, network operations, engineering, or project management
• Good understanding of electrical distribution networks, network facilities, equipment, supply security, as well as investment, renewal, and maintenance projects
• Good knowledge of asset management, project management, and portfolio management
• Experience in assessing and prioritising technical measures as well as in cost, schedule, quality, and resource control
• Confident handling of data, key figures, reporting, and decision-making bases; experience with SAP, GIS, Power BI, or similar tools is an advantage
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and enjoyment in collaborating with different specialist departments
• Structured, analytical, pragmatic, and solution-oriented working style with high personal responsibility, reliability, and resilience
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
