Product Management Aebi
The Aebi Schmidt Group is looking for a Product Portfolio Manager Aebi (100%) at the location CH-3401 Burgdorf
along the entire product lifecycle. In particular, the further development of our slope carriers (Aebi TT), single-axle mowers (Aebi CC), and transporters (Aebi TP/VT) is among your core tasks.
Your tasks:
You are responsible for the product roadmap, which you develop in coordination with the sales teams, taking into account market requirements, customer wishes, competitive analyses, and future trends. Before a development project is started, you create the specification sheet for these projects so that the development team can develop the right product. You are also significantly involved in supplier selection together with strategic purchasing.
Furthermore, collaboration and support of other departments are among your main tasks. You support the sales teams with technical expertise and documentation for customer enquiries and tenders. Together with the marketing team, you prepare the market launch and develop sales materials. You are also responsible for the development and delivery of product training for colleagues in various functions and countries.
Your background:
- Technician (HF, TS), Dipl.-Ing./Bachelor in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or comparable, or alternatively equivalent professional experience
- You can demonstrate at least 5-10 years of experience in product management
- Very good oral and written German and English skills
- Your communication skills in spoken and written form distinguish you, as does your experience in creating and delivering presentations
- Understanding of business contexts, including margin and sales analyses
- Analytical skills combined with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset
- Independent and structured working style as well as willingness to travel occasionally
- A great advantage is experience in agricultural technology, with agricultural or specialised vehicles, experience working in international teams, and know-how in product configuration with SAP VC
