About the job
About us
With one of the strongest 24/7 beverage portfolios in Switzerland, we currently supply over 80,000 private and business customers nationwide with our 130 employees – reliably, scalable and around the clock.
We are now deliberately expanding our business: beverage solutions for workplaces of all kinds – from offices and co-working spaces to industrial and production companies, as well as hospitals, care homes, schools and administrations. For this, we are looking for an entrepreneurial personality who conquers new markets and shapes this role from the ground up.
Your role
As Regional Key Account Manager At-Work, you are responsible for acquiring new customers from companies and organisations of all industries in your region – from SMEs with 10 employees to large sites with 250+ employees. You are a true hunter: you identify potentials, open doors, close contracts and build a profitable B2B customer portfolio. You work closely with our regional Valser Service delivery partners and ensure that newly acquired customers experience a smooth start.
Your tasks
• Active acquisition of new customers across all At-Work segments
• Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline from first contact to contract conclusion
• Identifying and addressing relevant decision-makers in each industry
• Developing industry-appropriate solutions from our portfolio
• Creating customised offers and independently leading price and contract negotiations, including public tenders and framework agreements
• Close cooperation with regional delivery partners to ensure onboarding, delivery quality and customer satisfaction
• Promoting successful cross-functional collaboration between KAM and internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Sales Support & Finance
• Systematic market and competitor observation in your region and deriving opportunities and measures
• Co-designing sales processes, offer formats and go-to-market approaches for the At-Work business
• Representing Valser Service at networking events, trade fairs and industry events
• Consistent maintenance of all activities in the CRM and regular reporting on KPIs (new customers, sales, pipeline, conversion)
Are these your secret ingredients?
• You have a degree in business administration, marketing or sales (FH or university) or an equivalent further education, e.g. as a federally certified sales manager
• You bring several years (ideally 3+) of professional experience in B2B sales or key account management, preferably in the FMCG or beverage industry
• You are a true hunter: cold calling is enjoyable for you, you are strong in closing, can demonstrate concrete acquisition successes and are not discouraged by a no
• You feel at home in various industries and strike the right tone in the office as well as in the workshop or hospital
• You have strong analytical skills and a very good understanding of sales, margin and pipeline metrics
• You convince with strong negotiation and presentation skills at all hierarchical levels and work in partnership with internal teams and our regional delivery partners
• You are a dynamic, entrepreneurial personality, work independently and have the drive to develop a new business field
• You are proficient in using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), SAP and MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• You hold a category B driving licence and are willing to travel regularly in your region
• You speak German as your mother tongue and English fluently, both spoken and written
Advantageous
• You speak additional languages, especially French and/or Italian – every additional language is a plus
• You have a bachelor’s degree or further training in sales or key account management
• You bring a network in the region, e.g. to office, facility or HR managers, operations managers, purchasers or property managers
• You have experience with public tenders and framework agreements
• You have already successfully built up a new territory or business area
