Job Description

• Ensure comprehensive care of the patient and her baby(ies) to promote the mother-child relationship.
• Maintain clinical reasoning to optimise the quality of care and patient safety in prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal periods.
• Apply hygiene rules and protocols to prevent infection.
• Have a clinical and adapted approach to the patient’s and/or her baby(ies)’ pain.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anaesthetists, and paediatricians.
• Participate in the supervision and evaluation of trainees.
• Ensure compliance with current processes.
• Adhere to institutional policy.

Qualifications

• Midwife diploma.
• Diploma(s) registered or recognised by the Swiss Red Cross.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in maternity appreciated.
