Do you want to help shape developments in the field of energy and buildings? Buildings are central to the decarbonisation of energy supply, and the cantons are responsible for the corresponding measures and regulations. Take on a key role at the interface of technology, politics and enforcement.

Your tasks

As head of the Energy Technology section, you are responsible for the further development of building regulations and the handling of political matters in the field of energy technology. Together with an interdisciplinary team of five employees, you develop fundamentals in areas such as energy efficiency, renewable energies, embodied energy and climate adaptation, represent the canton in working groups and support municipalities in enforcing energy regulations.

Your profile

For this demanding role, you bring a completed degree as an engineer or natural scientist and several years of experience in energy technology issues in the building sector. Experience in leading a team, conceptual thinking, precise working methods and a feel for politics and public administration processes complete your profile.
