About the job
The Nefenfeld residential complex is a living and community structure of the municipality of Widnau for asylum seekers and refugees. People of different origins, languages, cultures, and religions live here under one roof.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed, reliable, and independent person as Employee Night and Weekend Duty from 1 December 2026 or by arrangement.
Your Tasks
- Ensuring an orderly and safe operation of the residential complex during the night as well as on weekends and public holidays
- Contact person for residents with questions and concerns
- Carrying out regular patrols inside and outside the residential complex
- Documenting special incidents and preparing reports
- Supporting compliance with the house rules
- Cooperation with internal departments and external partners
- De-escalation in conflict situations
- Support with simple organisational and operational tasks
Your Profile
- Experience in social work, care, security, or a comparable field
- High social competence and respectful interaction with people from different cultures
- Reliable, responsible, independent, and resilient personality
- Assertiveness and confident appearance
- Team spirit and flexibility for night, weekend, and public holiday shifts
- Good German language skills, spoken and written
- Manual skills and basic IT knowledge
- Impeccable reputation
- Category B driving licence
- Foreign language skills are an advantage
Your Commitment
- Workload: approx. 30%
- Shifts: approx. 4–8 nights per month
- Weekends and public holidays: regular shifts
- Holiday absences: additional day shifts if needed
