• Specification of paint systems, supplier selection, development support
• Acceptance on and in the vehicle as well as support during the warranty period
• Implementing procedures and conducting damage analyses by evaluating solutions
• Cross-departmental collaboration with other departments (e.g. production, purchasing, project management, approval, surface technology) and point of contact for questions from the specialist area
• Responsibility for supporting our suppliers and customers regarding technical issues
• Supporting our production in the evaluation and initial use of new products
• Knowledge exchange with other specialists in their field
• Assistance in planning and conducting supplier audits, support and initial sample inspections
• Conducting and defining damage analyses by evaluating structural and surface defects as well as specifications for repair

• Several years of professional experience in surface technology in the field of painting and/or powder coating
• Training as a paint technologist is an advantage
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form
• English skills (level B2) in spoken and written form
