To strengthen our well-established Risk Team, we are looking for a Senior IT Risk Specialist to join us immediately or by arrangement. Shape the future of HBL and its subsidiaries together with us.
Your Tasks
You are responsible for topics in the area of ICT risks (including cyber risks and critical data risks) and work closely with the Head of Risk. As part of a 2nd Line of Defense, you monitor the ICT risks of a regional bank, which, in addition to the usual tasks, also deals with exciting and novel topics such as fintech, banking as a service (BaaS), and cryptocurrencies.
Among other things, the following activities await you:
- Further development and implementation of a comprehensive risk and control framework in the ICT area, taking regulatory requirements into account
- Independent assessment, auditing, and monitoring of ICT risks
- Support in risk identification, implementation of measures for
- risk mitigation, and ensuring the adequacy of the measures taken (close cooperation with the 1st Line of Defense)
- Consulting the specialist departments and management on various ICT risks
- Risk monitoring in other exciting areas such as third-party risk, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital assets (crypto)
- Member of the security team
What You Bring
- Several years of professional experience in ICT risk management and/or ICT security (ideally in a 2nd-Line-of-Defense function)
- Degree from a higher technical school, university of applied sciences, or university in computer science or business informatics (or a comparable qualification)
- Experience in reporting ICT risks
- Enjoyment of regulatory challenges (including knowledge of FINMA circulars, IT standards, and ISAE reports)
- A structured and precise way of working combined with a high degree of independence and initiative
- Strong communication skills combined with a confident appearance
