As an Engine Test Mechanic, your tasks include:
- Fitting and removing Pratt & Whitney PW4000, CFM International CFM56, GTF, and LEAP engines for engine test runs according to manufacturer specifications
- Conducting the final engine test run on Pratt & Whitney PW4000, CFM International CFM56, GTF, and LEAP engines according to manufacturer specifications
- Performing borescope inspections after the test run
- Troubleshooting and fault rectification at the test stand
- Timely execution and independent verification of completed tasks
- Documenting assigned activities in accordance with applicable regulations
- Continuous improvement of performed processes with the aim of enhancing quality and reducing production costs
Your profile
- Technical background in engine testing or completed vocational training in the metal/mechanical field (e.g. polymechanic, machine or automotive mechanic) with borescope inspection certification and at least 2 years of professional experience
- Experience in inspection and maintenance work as well as an independent, precise, and responsible working style
- Strong problem-solving skills and clear, effective communication abilities
- Willingness to work in a two-shift system as well as a flexible and reliable work approach
- Team player with an open and committed attitude
- High awareness of safety, quality, and cost efficiency in daily work
- Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP; English skills at B2 level, German skills advantageous
