Tasks
- Support business areas and subsidiaries during month-end and year-end closing.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, and manage dunning processes.
- Assist foreign branches with accounting and VAT issues on a daily basis.
Skills
- Completed commercial training with at least 3 years in accounting or a similar role.
- Independent, structured work style with a strong team orientation.
- Good English and/or French language skills are required.

About the job
- Collaboration and support of the business units as well as the foreign subsidiaries in the monthly and annual financial statements
- Posting of creditor and debtor invoices and managing dunning processes
- Daily tasks such as interface processing, managing bank bookings and payment runs for the foreign subsidiaries
- Support for employees at foreign locations (DE and Eastern Europe) in accounting and VAT matters
- Taking over deputy roles within the team
- Completed commercial basic training with at least 3 years of professional experience in accounting or a comparable function
- Independent, structured way of working as well as pronounced team and service orientation
- Good user knowledge of MS Office programs; knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is an advantage
- Good English and/or French skills in spoken and written form
- Flexibility, willingness to learn and enjoyment of a dynamic, international working environment
- A varied and responsible activity in an international environment
- Personal and professional development through targeted training and further education
- A motivated, collegial team and a location in a central area (5 minutes walk from Bern train station)
