The University Clinic for Gynaecology at the Inselspital Bern is one of the leading medical centres for gynaecology. Our three gynaecological outpatient clinics - the Breast Centre and Gynaecological Cancer Centre, the Fertility and Menopause Centre with Gynaecological Endocrinology, as well as the general Gynaecological Outpatient Clinic - offer a versatile and specialised medical environment. With your careful, reliable and independent way of working, you ensure that our teams can work optimally and that the necessary materials and instruments are always ready.

What to expect

• In the morning before the start of consultations, you prepare the examination and treatment rooms and ensure that all necessary materials and instruments are ready.
• You take responsibility for the professional cleaning, disinfection and preparation of our medical instruments in accordance with the applicable hygiene regulations and internal standards.
• You independently manage the consumables, check stock levels and place orders.
• You ensure order and well-organised material management in our three outpatient clinics.
• You take on further organisational and logistical tasks and thus contribute significantly to a smooth consultation operation.
• You work closely with our nursing teams and contribute your ideas to optimise workflows.

What you bring with you

• Ideally, you have training as a care assistant or bring experience in a comparable role in healthcare.
• You have experience or interest in instrument preparation, hygiene and material management.
• You work independently, in a structured and reliable manner and have a good eye for order and details.
• You are responsible, flexible and keep an overview even in busy situations.
• You appreciate teamwork, like to pitch in and recognise where your support is needed.
• You have good German language skills and are familiar with digital working tools.

Our offer

• Regular working hours from Monday to Friday: your 80% workload is spread over five working days with an early start before the consultations begin - in return, you enjoy an accordingly earlier finish. There are no night or weekend shifts.
