Assistant Physician Haematology

Fixed-term position for 1 year - exciting opportunity for targeted further development

Our clinic operates in the entire field of haematology, including morphological haematology, haemostasis, and transfusion medicine. On the one hand, we conduct haematological laboratory diagnostics within the Centre for Laboratory Medicine and Hospital Pharmacy; on the other hand, we care for outpatient and hospitalised patients with haematological diseases.

What to expect

• Care of patients in the outpatient clinic with both malignant and benign haematological diseases as well as on the ward
• Collaboration and training in morphology, haemostasis, and transfusion medicine
• Interpretation of laboratory and morphological findings considering the clinical question
• Active participation in the continuous education programme including case presentations and lectures
• Opportunities to participate in clinical studies or projects, enabling access to a dissertation
• Participation in interdisciplinary boards

What you bring

• Swiss medical diploma or foreign medical diploma including MEBEKO recognition or registration
• Motivation for a specialist title in haematology or in training as an internist with an interest in specialising in haematology
• Good German language skills including work experience in a German-speaking clinic
• Two years of clinical experience in internal medicine
• Initiative, committed, loyal, and resilient personality with communication skills and team spirit
