Your tasks
- Initiate, design and lead projects to promote gender equality
- Shape and further develop the programmes "Entreprise Égalité" and "Werkplatz Égalité"
- Support the specialist office in implementing its programme in the bilingual canton of Bern
- Handle matters from politics, administration and the public
- Participate in committees and working groups
Your profile
- Master's degree, preferably in humanities, social sciences, or political science
- Several years of professional and project management experience
- Proven expertise in equality
- Bilingualism French – German or native French with excellent German skills (C2)
- Experience in administration is an advantage

The cantonal specialist office for the equality of women and men, located in the State Chancellery, promotes actual equality in all areas of life and is committed to eliminating gender discrimination. It supports the canton of Bern in implementing equality, initiates measures and projects, and is a contact point for the public.
The State Chancellery is a versatile service provider at the interface between politics, administration and the public. It is the staff office of the Government Council and the liaison office to the Grand Council. It plans, supports and coordinates the activities of these authorities and provides numerous services for the administration and the public.
