Senior Underwriter Corporate Liability International (m/f/d)

What to expect

As a Senior Underwriter, you are responsible for underwriting in the field of corporate liability insurance (operational and professional liability). In this role, you accompany the entire sales and advisory process from risk assessment to the development and processing of the appropriate insurance solution.

Your impact with us

Your main tasks as an underwriter include the independent analysis, assessment, rating and underwriting of liability risks for internationally operating corporate clients, as well as negotiating and setting the terms and conditions.

In doing so, you structure and manage international programmes among other things and develop creative solutions for various types of risks. You also take over a portfolio and develop it further with the aim of high customer retention and expansion through new business.

Organising and participating in events and periodic customer meetings as well as contributing to projects complete your interesting and demanding area of activity.

What you bring

• Commercial basic training in the insurance industry with advanced training (specialist certificate/insurance diploma) or academic education (law or economics)
• Professional experience in national and international liability business as well as knowledge of the relevant market, foreign legal systems and local conditions
• Confident negotiator with a competent demeanour
• Enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams, good networking skills and pleasure in active listening
• Fluent German and English skills. French skills are a plus
