To strengthen our team, we are looking for immediately or by arrangement a technically skilled and committed person as Production Mechanic/Machine Setter 100%

Your tasks – versatile and responsible

• Machine loading & operation: Manually inserting the round sheet metal discs and starting the automatic forming process (pressing by the forming arm).
• Setup & parameter setting: Independently adjusting the machine parameters (pressure, paths, speeds) at the control terminal for fine tuning depending on material, sheet thickness and batch.
• Series production: Precise manufacture of various forming variants for slats, rain caps and special parts.
• Quality control: Dimensional and visual inspection of finished parts as well as readjustment of settings in case of material deviations.
• Maintenance: Performing simple care, cleaning and maintenance work on the system.

Requirements

• You have completed a technical basic education, for example as a Production Mechanic EFZ, Plant Operator EFZ or Mechanic. Alternatively, you have several years of experience in machine setup or metal and sheet metal processing.
• You understand how sheet metal behaves during forming and take into account material thickness, tension and processing properties.
• You enjoy setting and optimising machine parameters via modern controls and touch panels.
• You work precisely, reliably and independently and have an eye for detail.
• You recognise deviations, find suitable solutions and like to get involved yourself.
