As an Equipment Operator at Novartis, you are an essential part of our production team and contribute daily to ensuring our products are manufactured safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. About the Role
Main tasks:
- Carrying out manufacturing activities according to the production plan and quality requirements
- Careful and timely review of batch documentation
- Cleaning, preparation, and disinfection of production equipment and premises
- Performing sampling, aliquoting, and in-process controls
- Monitoring equipment function and early detection of deviations
- Reporting malfunctions and irregularities to the responsible departments
- Compliance with quality, safety, and environmental regulations in daily production
Minimum requirements:
- Experience in a chemical or pharmaceutical environment or relevant training, ideally as a chemical and pharmaceutical technologist
- Very good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice is essential
- Technical understanding and ability to work independently and reliably according to instructions
- Experience with process control systems, ideally DeltaV (Emerson) or Siemens control systems
- Careful, structured, and quality-conscious working style with high personal responsibility
- Fluent German skills and basic English skills
Desirable requirements:
- Confident use of Microsoft Office and process control systems
