EMWE AG, based in Zurich, combines extensive expertise in architecture, planning, and construction management. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced and committed project/construction manager to start immediately (or by arrangement). Your area of responsibility

• You independently manage building construction projects during the execution phase (SIA 4.32 to 4.53)

• You lead an interdisciplinary team of planners, draftsmen, site managers, and external specialist planners

• You ensure that projects are implemented efficiently and on schedule, while paying attention to costs and quality

• You are the competent interface to authorities, planners, and contractors, representing the interests of EMWE and the client

• You handle construction descriptions, cost estimates, and specifications

• You conduct tender procedures and negotiate contracts for work

• You are responsible for construction cost management, including maintaining construction accounting, cost controls, and invoicing

• You take on site supervision – from quality and schedule controls to final inspections

• You support clients and, in condominium projects, act as the contact person for buyers

• You lead and conduct final inspections and project handovers to the client

• You manage warranty matters and final documentation

• For individual projects, you act as the local site manager, organise and coordinate the contractors involved early on, conduct site meetings, interim and final inspections, and prepare schedules, minutes, and the construction journal

Your profile

• Completed further training as a federally certified construction manager, architect, or a university degree in architecture / construction management / building technician HF

• Successful and several years of professional experience in Switzerland as a project and construction manager for building construction projects (preferably single-family and multi-family houses)

• Creative, well-structured, quality- and cost-conscious, as well as solution-oriented

• Very good German skills as well as very good knowledge of Swiss construction standards and construction law

• Proficient in MS Office as well as Messerli construction administration, RealView

• Confident and engaging manner, transparent and convincing communication, and a welcome team player who thinks and acts for the company
