Managing Director 80 – 100% (m/f)

Your task:

You take overall responsibility for a regionally anchored utility company and actively shape its future.

Your area of responsibility includes in particular:

• Overall management of the cooperative (Electricity, Water, Communication)
• Leading a small, well-coordinated team and active participation in day-to-day business
• Ensuring an economical, efficient operation including budget and results responsibility
• Planning and implementation of infrastructure and digitalisation projects
• Strategic development in close cooperation with the board of directors
• Representation of the cooperative towards the public, authorities and partners

Here you do not act from a distance – you are right in the middle. Strategically, operationally and entrepreneurially.

Your profile:

You are a practice-oriented leader with technical understanding and an entrepreneurial mindset. Furthermore, we expect from you:

• Experience in a leadership or project management role
• Technical background in the energy sector or comparable industry experience
• Solid business management understanding
• Strong communication skills in dealing with authorities, committees and customers
• Enjoyment of an SME environment with high personal responsibility

Much more important than all the "technical" aspects is you as a new team player. You are open, solution-oriented and know how to inspire your team and build supportive relationships with your customers.
