The Ita Wegman Ambulatory Clinic Basel is a group practice offering general medicine, speech therapy, and curative eurythmy. The general practitioners and therapists are supported by the practice management and an eight-member MPA team plus a trainee. All those working in the ambulatory clinic are trained to complement conventional medicine through the integrative approach of Anthroposophic Medicine. The ambulatory clinic is a department of Klinik Arlesheim AG.
For the Ita Wegman Ambulatory Clinic (IWA) near the Markthalle in Basel, we are looking for a
Medical Practice Assistant 85%
Job profile:
- Responsible for smooth planning and correct preparation of consultations and therapies
- Independent execution of laboratory analyses, spirometries and infusion therapies, external applications (compresses and poultices) as well as writing ECGs
- Recording of services
- General support of the medical team in their activities
You bring with you:
- Completed training as a Medical Practice Assistant with professional experience
- Good IT skills (Office programmes) and ideally experience with INES
- Proficiency in German spoken and written; English and French skills advantageous
- Good communication skills, friendly manners and a strong customer orientation
- High flexibility, resilience and ability to work independently
