For our client, a successful and internationally active industrial company with a holding and management company in Baar, we are looking for a finance professional with an entrepreneurial mindset, a willingness to shape, and drive.
As part of further growth, this position is newly created. As Group Financial Controller, you will report directly to the CFO and take on a central role in the further development and professionalisation of the Group Finance function.
We are explicitly not looking for a person who primarily manages existing structures. Rather, this position offers the opportunity to rethink processes, build structures, and actively develop finance – from group reporting and consolidation to the establishment of new topics such as treasury and cash management.
You will act as a sparring partner to the CFO and Group Management, work internationally with the finance teams, and receive the necessary visibility and scope to actually implement changes.
Group Financial Controller
Your Responsibilities
- Responsibility for group reporting, consolidation as well as monthly reporting, strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting for the international group
- Preparation of management reports and analyses for executive management, board of directors and shareholders as well as coordination of annual financial statements and external audits
- Development and further advancement of the Group Finance function and establishment of professional, scalable processes and structures
- Development of new finance topics, especially in the areas of treasury, cash management and other group finance processes
- Initiation and implementation of finance transformations, including ERP, process harmonisation, automation and reporting
- Close collaboration with the CFO as sparring partner and deputy in strategic finance matters as well as support for group management and the international finance organisation
Your Profile
- Degree in finance, accounting, controlling, business administration or a comparable field
- 5–10 years of experience in financial controlling, group accounting, auditing or corporate finance in an international environment
- Sound knowledge of financial reporting, consolidation and accounting; IFRS is an advantage
- Entrepreneurial personality with strong drive, hands-on mentality and the ambition not only to manage but to build and make a difference
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with high independence and convincing stakeholder management
- Very good ERP and Excel skills, ideally experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI
- Very good German and English skills
