Your extensive main responsibilities include, among others:
- Organizing and conducting sales talks to acquire new business or conclude contracts
- Representing the Collection at trade fairs, roadshows, and sales fairs at home and abroad
- Executing and supporting the implementation of business (e.g., preparing offers, contracts, and managing customer correspondence)
- Building and maintaining close relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Developing new sales strategies and exploring new markets to ensure the highest returns in the market for the segment
- Interpreting market data via sales systems as well as developing and implementing strategies to achieve financial goals for room and event/banquet sales
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in hotel management, business administration, or a related field
- At least 6 years of professional experience in sales and at least 3 years of professional experience in the MICE and event sector in a luxury hotel as Director of Events/Director of MICE
- Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written; additional knowledge of Italian and French is an advantage
- Comprehensive knowledge of the MICE industry, current market trends, and best practices
- Solid understanding of the Swiss hospitality and tourism landscape as well as proven experience working with international markets and multicultural clients
- Strong skills in strategic planning and revenue optimization
- Excellent negotiation and contract skills as well as outstanding presentation and public speaking abilities
