Your Tasks

• Professional leadership, coordination and further development of the accounting team (5 employees)
• Ensuring smooth operations in daily business (accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, real estate and general ledger accounting)
• Responsibility for proper, timely and legally compliant accounting according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR)
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to OR in close cooperation with the CFO
• Preparation of financial reports
• Analyses and reconciliations
• Preparation and support of audits as well as cooperation with external trustees and authorities
• Submission of VAT and withholding tax returns
• Optimisation and further development of processes, internal controls and guidelines in the finance area
• Participation in ERP and finance projects
• Contact person for internal departments on all accounting matters

Your Profile

• Completed commercial basic training (EFZ) or business studies
• Ongoing or completed further training in finance and accounting (professional certificate level)
• Knowledge in preparing financial statements according to Swiss OR
• Abacus knowledge advantageous, very good MS Office skills (especially Excel)
• Structured, independent and responsible working style
• Strong hands-on mentality
• Assertiveness, communication skills and cooperative leadership style

This position is particularly suitable for a younger person between 30 and 40 who wishes to gain initial leadership experience.
