At MaxWell Biosystems, we develop advanced electrophysiology systems that enable researchers to record and understand neuronal activity. Our products combine precision instruments with semiconductor-based microtiter plates and are manufactured by an international team in Zurich.

For our on-site team in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced, precise, and adaptable professional for production and operations. The core of the position involves production, assembly, and quality control. Additionally, you will be trained in selected tasks in logistics and around our facilities. This position combines focused precision work with variety and personal responsibility.

Your tasks

• Independently assemble and test semiconductor-based consumables and electromechanical systems – including work in the cleanroom.
• Perform incoming, intermediate, and outgoing inspections using microscopes and measuring devices.
• Take responsibility for assigned production tasks and adhere to approved work instructions and quality standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of production and assist in maintaining work instructions.
• Support goods receipt, inventory management, order picking, packaging, and shipping preparation, especially during peak workloads.
• Act as deputy in selected production and logistics processes and keep equipment and workstations ready for use.

Your profile

• Completed technical vocational training in mechanics, electronics, automation, microtechnology, or a comparable field; equivalent international qualifications are welcome. Logistics training is also considered with extensive experience in technical production.
• At least two years of industrial experience in precision manufacturing, assembly, testing, inspection, or technical operations; experience in cleanroom environments and handling microscopes is advantageous.
• Strong fine motor skills, high attention to detail, and a careful and disciplined approach to quality assurance and documentation.
• Enjoyment of focused, repetitive precision work as well as practical variety with changing priorities.
• Independent, responsible working style and enthusiasm for cross-team collaboration.
• Good English skills (B2), solid German skills (B1), and confident use of digital tools.
• Willingness to perform the role entirely on-site in Zurich.
