About the job

The Special Education Department of the Department of School and Sport (DSS) is the centre of expertise for pedagogy for special needs and makes an important contribution to inclusive education in mainstream schools as well as in collaboration with external special schools.

Your Tasks

From February 2027 or by arrangement, we would like to expand our team with a committed and qualified individual as Special Education Manager (70-80%). This role could also be considered as a job-sharing position.

You will be responsible for:

Advising and providing professional support in the special education field to teachers, school principals, and other professionals involved in the school
Initiating, accompanying, and reviewing external special school measures
Interdisciplinary collaboration with internal and external partners: professionals, schools, institutions, and authorities
Collegial cooperation within the Special Education Department team

Your Profile

Master’s degree in School Special Education or equivalent qualification
Several years of experience in integration or special education
Structured, independent working style
Strong communication skills and enjoyment of collaboration
Resilience and the ability to maintain an overview even in complex situations
High capacity for self-organisation and flair for administrative processes
Professional confidence and enthusiasm to actively contribute
