To strengthen our Development / Design team in Olten, we are looking for a

Designer / Product Developer 80–100%

As an innovative company, we ensure that drinking water flows in buildings throughout Switzerland. For this purpose, we develop, produce and distribute pioneering complete solutions for sanitary/heating technology with around 500 employees.

Your tasks

• Development of new products according to specifications and applicable standards
• Development of concept ideas with creative solutions
• Understanding customer needs and implementing them into innovative product solutions considering quality, time frame and costs
• Detail design of components and assemblies with 3D-CAD for further processing in the foundry and production
• Creation and validation of prototypes in collaboration with the in-house laboratory
• Definition and execution of relevant tests in the development and approval process to ensure all product specifications and standard requirements
• Technical support of existing products including implementation of changes
• Close cooperation with suppliers, foundry and production for technical clarifications

Your profile

• Qualification as a designer EFZ, further education as technician HF or mechanical engineer advantageous
• Proficient use of 3D-CAD (Siemens NX), MS Office and SAP
• Independent, goal-oriented and implementation-strong personality with high self-motivation
• Enjoyment of working in an interdisciplinary project team
• Passion for innovative technical solutions and functional design
