- Carrying out maintenance, inspection and repair work on injection moulding tools
- Analysing and rectifying wear, malfunctions and fault patterns on tools
- Carrying out repairs and replacement of tool components taking technical specifications into account
- Performing functional and tightness tests as well as documenting the work carried out
- Coordinating and accompanying trial runs and sampling after relevant repairs
- Documenting tool histories, maintenance, repairs and recurring faults
- Analysing recurring faults and contributing to measures to improve tool service life, availability and part quality
- Coordinating tool-related measures with production, setters, toolmaking, design and quality assurance
Your profile
- Completed training as a tool mechanic, ideally specialising in mould technology, or a comparable qualification
- Good knowledge of the construction, manufacture and maintenance of injection moulding tools
- Confident handling of technical drawings and measuring instruments
- Experience in fault analysis and root cause identification as well as in preventive maintenance
- Structured and careful working method when documenting maintenance and repair work
- Good knowledge of relevant automotive quality requirements
- Good German language skills, both spoken and written
