Clerk in Finance (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF75,000 - 85,000Role:
Do you want to take responsibility for your own area in accounting while working in a versatile role? In this position, you will take care of central processes in financial accounting. Additionally, you will support closing activities and other financial matters. You work independently, keep an overview, and are an important support for the entire finance team.
Responsibilities:
You take over the ongoing processing of accounts payable and ensure the correct handling of incoming invoices
You participate in monthly and annual closing activities and compile the necessary documents
You check financial documents, assign them to the appropriate accounts and departments, and record them in the system
You prepare payment runs, check them, and ensure timely execution
You maintain the relevant supplier information and ensure an up-to-date data basis
You perform regular checks and reconciliations in payment and booking transactions
You support accounts receivable and take on tasks related to outstanding receivables and dunning as needed
You assist in preparing documents for external audits and reviews
Qualifications:
You have a commercial education or a comparable qualification; further training in finance and accounting is an advantage
You bring practical experience in finance and accounting and are familiar with the processes of accounts payable from your own experience
You have good knowledge of Swiss accounting and ideally have already participated in closing activities
You are confident in using digital tools and quickly familiarise yourself with new financial systems
You have very good German skills and can also communicate confidently in English
