YOUR SPECIALITY AS A BOOKSELLER

Advising our customers in Basel on books and maps for their travel adventures. Your thing.
Our extensive travel literature range. Your home.
Observing trends and integrating them into the range design. Yes, please!
Co-designing and maintaining the sales area. The appearance is important to you.
Assisting with goods flow and ordering (ordering, returning, researching). Of course.
Ensuring exchange between Transa and Orell Füssli. Important.

THIS IS YOU

Completed training as a bookseller or retail specialist. Already a few years under your belt.
High affinity for travel guides, maps and travel literature as well as great interest in outdoor activities (e.g. hiking, climbing, or biking). That’s needed.
Working hours on Wednesday and Friday from 2 pm to 7 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm. Yes, of course.
An open ear for our customers in Basel. Absolutely.
Your environment describes you as service-oriented, independent and flexible. Definitely.
Very good German skills, spoken and written. No problem.
