Your Tasks
The already strongly practised interdisciplinary collaboration will be further strengthened with the consolidation of all specialist departments in the new building from 2027 and creates optimal conditions for future-oriented, networked medicine.
For the strategic and medical further development of our Angiology department, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed, strong leader and professionally proven personality as Chief Physician Angiology.
- Medical, personnel and organisational overall responsibility for the Angiology department.
- Ensuring a high-quality, patient-centred diagnosis and therapy of the entire angiological spectrum, especially interventional.
- Further development of outpatient and inpatient angiological care in close cooperation with the hospital's specialist disciplines.
- Establishment and maintenance of interdisciplinary cooperations, especially with Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Radiology, Vascular Surgery, Interventional Radiology and General Practice.
- Co-responsibility for the strategic further development of the Cantonal Hospital as well as active shaping of care processes.
- Promotion of training, further education and continuing education as well as supervision and support of assistant and senior physicians.
- Representation of Angiology towards referrers, professional committees and external partners.
- Commitment to quality assurance, innovation, teaching and, if applicable, research.
Your Profile
- Federal medical diploma or MEBEKO-recognised equivalent qualification.
- FMH specialist title in Angiology.
- Habilitation.
- Several years of clinical and leadership experience in a senior position, ideally in a hospital or university environment.
- Proven expertise in non-invasive and invasive angiology as well as in the care of complex vascular medical patients.
- Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration and enjoyment of networked medical care.
- Strong leadership, communication and social skills.
- Entrepreneurial thinking, high sense of responsibility and interest in the further development of a future-oriented specialist department.
- Very good knowledge of German, other national languages advantageous.
