Who are we?

The Swiss Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training EHB is the Swiss centre of expertise for vocational education and training. We train and further educate those responsible for vocational education, research vocational education, develop professions, and support international vocational education cooperation. Our locations are in Zollikofen near Bern (headquarters), Lausanne, and Lugano, with external sites in Olten and Zurich.

For the Directorate division in Zollikofen, we are looking to complete our HR team with an experienced

HR Generalist 80 - 100%

Your area of responsibility

• Overall responsibility for personnel administration throughout the entire employee life cycle
• Collaboration and deputising in payroll and fee processing
• Support of social insurances and other external agencies
• Coordination and monitoring of administrative HR processes as well as maintenance of personnel master data in Abacus
• Further development and digitalisation of HR processes
• Participation in HR projects
• Practical trainer for apprentices in the Human Resources area

Your profile

• Commercial basic training and further education as an HR specialist
• At least 5 years of experience in personnel administration as well as good knowledge of payroll accounting and social insurances
• Confident use of MS Office and Abacus
• Numerical flair as well as a structured, high-quality and efficient way of working
• Initiative, strong solution orientation and a high sense of responsibility
• Excellent German and very good French skills, some Italian would be an advantage
