The IT main department is the central competence and service center for IT for the cantonal administration, the courts, and the municipalities. In this newly created position, an exciting role with operational tasks and varied projects awaits you in a flexible and interdisciplinary team.
We are looking for a
Operational IT Buyer 80–100 %
immediately or by arrangement with the workplace in Glarus.
Tasks
- Carry out procurements under the legal framework conditions (EG IVöB)
- Handle procurements from demand notification to invoice processing, purchase-to-pay process
- Economical and sustainable procurement taking into account customer needs
- Clarification of requirements, formal and content review of demand requests as well as determination of the type of procurement or award procedure
- Independent execution of invitation procedures and price negotiations with suppliers, both written and oral
- Monitoring of supply chains
- Contract management
- Continuous review and optimization of purchasing processes
Requirements
- Technical or commercial basic training with further education in supply chain areas
- Sound knowledge of the procurement process as well as proven procurement experience, preferably in public procurement of IT equipment and services
- Networked thinking, independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Appearance and communication skills as well as assertiveness
- Customer-oriented, cost-sensitive and proactive action
