Deputy Head of Supply Chain Management (100%)

As the deputy to the Head of Supply Chain Management, you will take on a central role in the areas of purchasing, logistics and scheduling. You ensure a high delivery capability, optimise processes and, together with the current 8-person team, ensure smooth order processing. During the induction period, you will actively participate in the operational day-to-day business and get to know our processes and systems in detail. You can expect a varied role with clear development prospects – the assumption of leadership responsibility is envisaged for you.

Your area of responsibility

• In the long term, you will take on the professional and personnel management of the 8-person team
• You are responsible for the entire material management
• You ensure customer-oriented order processing
• You optimise processes, drive improvements forward and actively contribute to cross-departmental projects
• You work in day-to-day business, especially in material procurement
• As a strong deputy, you relieve the Head of Supply Chain Management and gradually take on additional responsibility

What you bring with you

• You have a commercial or technical basic education with further training in purchasing, logistics or supply chain management
• You have several years of professional and leadership experience in a similar position
• You like to get stuck in and actively engage in operational day-to-day business during the induction phase
• You are proficient in handling IT systems, especially SAP and Excel, and communicate confidently in German
• You are characterised by a strong customer and service orientation
• You keep an overview and a cool head even in hectic situations
