Polymechanic - Maintenance for Railway Technology

• Perform mechanical repairs, overhauls and modifications on locomotives, track construction machines and rail vehicles
• Assemble and overhaul mechanical components, assemblies and modules according to technical drawings and sketches
• Independently carry out functional tests of the assembled assemblies based on technical documentation
• Support electrical departments with simple repair and overhaul work
• Take on on-call duty and provide telephone support outside regular working hours

• Completed vocational training as a polymechanic EFZ or equivalent with a focus on maintenance
• Several years of experience in assembly, repair and overhaul work in the mechanical field
• Sound knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Driving licence category B is mandatory
• Good German language skills in spoken and written form and knowledge of Microsoft Office are advantageous
