Desired Profile
- Doctorate: (canonical) doctorate in canon law or doctorate in Catholic theology on a canon law topic or doctorate in law on a canon law topic combined with a canonical licentiate in canon law
- A habilitation in the field of the position or equivalent scientific publications are desired
- Knowledge of Swiss (cantonal and federal) church-state law or willingness to familiarise oneself with it is expected
- Scientific publications in the field of the advertised position
- Preferably experience in acquiring third-party funding
- Good pedagogical and didactic skills and willingness for further training
- Willingness and ability for online teaching
- Ability to reflect on the theological dimension of the subject and to bring it into dialogue with other theological disciplines
- Ability to offer teaching equally in French and German. If the applicant only masters one of the two, they must learn the other teaching language within two years
