At our Blind and Disabled Centre Bern – the "B" – 370 people work, about half of whom at an adapted workplace. For over 140 years, we have been committed to blind, visually and multiply impaired persons and, in addition to the cantonal advisory centre, also offer various forms of housing. Maintenance makes an important contribution to the upkeep of the properties and operational infrastructure of the B – also for the well-being and safety of clients and employees.

Your tasks
- Assisting with building and grounds maintenance (buildings, building services, waste disposal, garden, roof terrace, etc.)
- Maintenance of our facilities (equipment, resident rooms, furniture, infrastructure, etc.)
- Assisting with events
- Assisting with moves (office and workplace changes, moving in and out of residents)
- Participation in the alarm group, on-call and winter service, and operational safety
Ideally, you bring
- Completed training as a maintenance specialist EFZ or another technical, craft-related training with maintenance experience
- Professional experience in a comparable role in the healthcare sector
- PC user skills, CAFM knowledge (Waveware) advantageous
- You have a strong service orientation, are flexible and remain calm even in hectic situations
- Good German language skills, spoken and written
- Driving licence category B
